Kitchen Vents and Ductwork Cleaning
Clean It UK Group have a dedicated team who specialise in kitchen deep cleaning and our aim to always provide the highest possible standard to all our customers.
The Food and Safety Act 1990 and 1995 lay down strict guidelines and specific tasks that each commercial kitchen must follow in order to comply. One such specific requirement is deep cleaning to kitchens. To prevent fire or possible bacterial contamination of food, health and fire regulations and insurance companies call for high standards in maintenance and cleanliness.
New fire regulations require that a responsible person is nominated to ensure that fire risk assessments are completed and that control measures are set in place.
Ensuring that kitchen grease extract systems i.e. canopies, filters, ductwork, risers, and fans in kitchens are cleaned as required by your buildings insurance policies and in accordance with Fire Safety Regulations and Workplace (Health, Safety & Welfare) regulations is a legal requirement.
It is highly recommended that you have a professional company perform a deep kitchen cleaning service at least twice per year to keep your kitchen as clean as possible.
Having a regular deep clean will prevent grease and dirt build up in hard to reach areas and reduce the risk of fire.
Once the cleaning is complete you will be provided with a hygiene certificate to prove that your kitchen has been deep cleaned and meets the required standards and high level of cleanliness required by law.
